MY PROFILE
Hi,
Assalamualaikum  and hello. My name is MOHAMAD HAIKAL BIN ZULKIFLI. I’m from Segamat Johor. I’m student in the Faculty of Applied Science at University Teknologi Mara (UiTM)  in Jengka. My main course is Wood Industry. My hobby is silat. I played silat since I in primary school. I represented my school to district level. In my family, my father’s name is ZULKIFLI BIN AHMAD. He is 51 years old. He works as a supervisor. My mother’s name is SITI BINTI LINTANG. She is 60 years old. She is full-time homemaker. I only have one older brother. His name is MOHAMAD NASRULHAQ AQWA BIN ZULKIFLI. He is 23 years old. He still studying at Food Institute of Malaysia (FIM). Before, I studied at SMK PADUKA TUAN. After I finished my SPM I have been choosen to be part of UITM community. I hope I can learn more about the course that I take part in this university.

The UED first class begin by Prof Madya Dr Halil Bin Paino the Deputy Rector for UiTM Pahang Campus Jengka and held at Dewan Indera Segara. All the interim student was gathered in Dewan Indera Segara.The program begin at 8.00 a.m and end at 10.00 a.m. He talk about the difference between school and university. The notes that I get :

-We can create our weekly schedule by own because the schedule is only using by your own.

-The semester calendar for UiTM. This is the one example that i lern. We can know when our examination date.

4)   Academic vs personal life.
-In university, we will face this problem because as a student we should balancing our personal life and academic. If you can control both of this,  you will never feel stress or depresse.

5)   Avoid procrastination.
-This is the bad attitude for a student. Example, students always procrastination doing their assignments or work and do it last minute . We should avoid this before we late.

What is taking notes?

->Take notes some ideas from lecturer when lecturer is teaching .
-When lecturer talking, student must taking notes.

Why takes note
-> Helps us to pay attention when lecturer teaching.
->Helps us sharpen our reminder .
->Helps us engage our sensibility .

What review notes
√ We can fail to keep 80% what we hear if it is not reviewed in a few hour after lecturer teaching .
√ Describe any questions for associate.
√ There is not enough time to absorb all the information .

-Plagiarism means when one person copy another person such as ideas or writing by another person and indict that is his work.

How to prevent plagiarism
> Paraphrasing
-change the meaning of the writer , speaker,  or something written using your own words.
> Referencing
-add a book or article with examples of authorities.

Session 2 : Calculating Grade Point Average.

GPA MEANING
> GPA is grade point average that calculate all the grade we earn in each semester.

CGPA MEANING
> CGPA is cumulative grade point average that refer all the GPA. If we want to know the CGPA, we should devide the numbers of quality points we get in all course attempt by the total credits hour in all attempted courses.

ICGPA MEANING
> ICGPA is integrated cumulative grade point average. It is one of the value that report for each final semester or duration of study.


How to calculate GPA??

GPA =

Total credit values registered and attempted in the assessment
                                               of a semester
______________________________________________________________________
                  The total credits acquired in the same semester

Total credit values of a semester = total credits hour x point

GPA = 97.00

      1)    What are goals?
-goals is some you have target to get something you want and you have the effort .
      2)    Characteristics of goals
¤ Goals should be self-chosen
-if the goal is set by your family , teacher or friends it will be not work for your own.
¤ Goals should be moderately challenging .
-one of the custom to set moderately challenging goals recognize what you have completed.
¤ Goals should be realistic .
-everyone has their target they want to get in their life.
¤ Goals should be measurable.
-you can destine whenever you get it.
-you can face some trouble after you get your goal if you just do your work mediocre.
¤ Goals should be specific .
-the more specific your goals are , the more effort that you get.
¤ Goals should be finite/limits/bounds.
-Goals have its own limit period.
¤ Goals should be positive .
-if you chose negative goals, you will never reache your goals.
-you must work hard to chase your goals.
      3)   Long term and short term goals.
* Long term goals.
-you have to chose your own goals for the end of the year , for four or five years from now on .
* Short term goals.
-you can chose it from now for one semester because you only set it for a short period .
      4)  Academic and Personal goals.
* Academic goals .
-academic goals is the course that you choose in university. That include the things that you do like going to class , completing your assignment and preparing for exam.
* Personal goals.
-it like you meet the new friends , take part in clubs or sport event and exercise.

1. The time operation for Al-Bukhari Library
-8.00 a.m until 6.00 p.m

2. Borrowing and returning the books
-2 week after borrowing the book

3. Completing the borrowing and returning books
-before the returning date

4. Fine for the book that you borrowed more than the returning date
-one day Rm 0.20 per book.

5. Do a report
-you must do a report to staff in the library if you have lost the book

-you can borrow the book from other university
